The most common items we send for reuse are office furniture items: chairs, tables, sofas, reception desks etc.
But! We have been able to send all kinds of things off to a better place.
During COVID a London restaurant contacted us regarding a Black Cab that they had sitting on the street outside their business. Due to lockdown the restaurant was closed, and the taxi was falling into disrepair. They wanted to remove the taxi, but try to find a way to prevent it being destroyed for recycling.
Luckily they contacted us! We called the schools our children go to and asked if any of them would like to have this beautiful taxi. We found it a new home at Whitehall Primary School in E4.
It’s there today!
